Annual Kennett Run Standby Email Print PDF RSS By Ambulance Lieutenant Doug Rivell May 15, 2010   On Saturday May 15th, The Kennett Fire Company stood by at the Anson B. Nixon Park for the annual Kennett Run. Ambulance 24-1 and Ambulance 24-2 staged at the finish line as well as the first aid tent. Engine 24-6 supplied water at the finish line for a sprinkler so that runners could cool off after the run. Engine 24-2 secured a LZ for Sky Care 1 in the park. All in all the event ran smoothly and Kennett units cleared the park around noon. Thank you to Avondale and Longwood EMS for their assistance. Pictures by Doug Rivell.
